Got to go, but

does it seem to you that there are people in the world (I'm thinking of a mom at Maddy's school) whose sole purpose in life is to cause a big commotion which then forces everyone else to pay attention to them?

And that there are then organizations set up (I'm thinking the PTA, here) whose sole purpose is to have all their time taken up with said individuals?

I guess I'm sparing somebody some grief, but I'm wondering why it has to be me.
