horrible

Bleh.

It's raining and raining out, which is nice, but I would really like to go home and finish the sock I'm knitting, or perhaps read a book.

Oh well.

Here's the news:

Maddy's doing really well at riding. Yay! She gets to ride the most obstreperous horse, and he mostly behaves himself and she gets him to trot enthusiastically and she looks so very happy!

Also, tomorrow's her birthday, and there are a few things I need to acquire before tomorrow. Plus, I guess I ought to bake a cake. Hmm.

But now, I have a singularly horrible thing I have to do today, and I think I'm going to just go do it.
