Also, apparently 100 authors were asked what they thought the "best book" was, and then numbers were tallied. It would have made more sense to ask for a list of 10. It's kind of hard to pck just one.

Also -- Marilynne Robinson was on the list for Housekeeping. So there were two women.

Interestiing, though, how many authors were there for different books ...
