Here is a thing you could do that would really annoy me, although I would feel like I was being really petty.

If you are in charge of the new "fun" books, and I came up and saw them on your desk and said, "Oh, we're going to read that in my book group," you could mumble something about how you are checking that one out.

This would cause me to dislike you more than I already do.
