Did I mention that my grandmother broke her hip? Yes -- M was supposed to be off at my mother's house by now, enjoying cool ocean breezes, swimming, and playing with dogs and cousins.

But my grandmother broke her hip, so my mother is with her in Phoenix. She has surgery tomorrow. I mean, it all sounds possible, but you know it is not trivial.

Yikes.
