All right -- the garden is very much a work in progress, but I promise to take a picture of the gate this weekend and post it here.

I'm pretty eager to get started on planting more. California weather is such that it actually makes sense to plant things in the fall. It doesn't get cold enough to damage anything, usually, and the winter rains let things get established so they look good by spring, and can withstand the summer drought.

So that's exciting, too ...
