I'm afraid it's the time of year when I just want to go home all the time.

The new lights are so cozy. They make a huge difference -- the house feels like a real house now. And most of the pictures are hung -- there's been some moving around of pictures. It's just nice.

It's a curious question. Would I have gone mad as a stay at home mom?

Actually, I think if we could have afforded it I would have enjoyed it.

Oh well.

Maybe I will always regret not moving to some snowy affordable place.

But we didn't.

In any case --
