So -- Kevin came back.
It sounds very grim. His father lies there like a lima bean, yellow and full of tubes. His mother and whoever is staying with her go to visit twice a day. Sometimes he is quite responsive -- he raised his hand when K's brother left. But sometimes he's out of it.
The doctors have mentioned that it may not go well, and that choices may have to be made. But in the meantime, he seems to be hanging in there --
But it's hard on everyone and especially K's mom, who is getting to be fairly frail herself.
It's odd to have him back again --
Now I need breakfast.
