I stayed home yesterday with a strangely swollen eye.

I think it's probably allergies -- lots of people seem to have itching eyes, etc. lately.

Anyway -- it's still quite red, but at least normal sized again.

Book group met. We read Signals of Distress by Jim Crace. I liked it a lot. I like him a lot. I think it's about chance.
