Three minute update:

• Our poor house is missing its stairs. It's getting a new foundation in the front, which is good, but it does look a bit unhappy. Not to mention that the mail delivery seems a bit problematic. I wish they'd out the stairs back.
  
• Continuing turmoil over whether M will or won't go to DC. Hmmm. I have an opinion, but I'm not expressing it.
  
• I'm feeling so busy I could scream, or alternately, slip into a coma.
  
• Fingersmith is good, but sort of lurid. Also, it really makes you aware of how much dirt is in the world. I mean literally. Ick.
